For guests

How do I open a restaurant's menu?

Open DishDuck Customers and tap Scan QR. Point the camera at the code the waiter shows you on their phone. The menu arrives on your phone and opens by itself.

Why does the app ask for the camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi?

The app checks all of this before scanning and tells you what's missing. Without the camera, scanning isn't possible.

Why does it ask for my location?

The phone's system requires it to use the nearby link that brings the menu. DishDuck Customers doesn't store or send your location.

Do I need internet?

Not always. The menu comes from the restaurant's device over a nearby link. If that link fails, the app downloads the menu over the internet and checks that it's the same one.

Why did the menu close?

Each menu opens for a limited time. When it ends, the menu closes and its content is deleted from your phone. To see it again, ask the waiter for a new code.

Do I need an account?

No. DishDuck Customers doesn't ask for an account, your name, email or phone number.

How do I delete my history?

Go to History and tap Clear history. The history lives only on your phone; it's also removed if you uninstall the app.

I have an allergy. Can I rely on the menu?

The menu is published by the restaurant, and ingredients and allergens are its responsibility. Always confirm with the staff.

Did you see something wrong on a menu?

Tell us if a menu has photos that aren't the restaurant's, false information (for example about prices or allergens) or offensive content. Write to reports@d4u.store with the restaurant's name, the city, and what you saw; a screenshot helps. We review every report.

Did you find a mistake or a missing credit?

If something in the apps or on this website is wrong (for example outdated or contradictory information), or a third-party resource is credited incorrectly or not credited at all, write to reports@d4u.store. Tell us where you saw it and what should change, and we'll fix it.

For restaurant staff

How do I sign in to the app for my job?

The staff apps (Manager, Service, Delivery, Register, Kitchen and Server) don't use passwords: they're linked by reading the QR code shown to you by the person who manages the restaurant.

Why does Delivery ask for my location?

To track the delivery. Delivery uses your location only while you have orders on the way, and only the guest of the next order sees it, on a map. Your route isn't stored and the location expires by itself.

I changed phones or deleted the app

Ask the person who manages the restaurant for a new QR code and link the phone again.
